About me:

After having studied architecture, worked in advertising, urban planning and finally settling as an illustrator and animator, I found out about LDT

Many of the books I worked on as an illustrator were textbooks for use in schools. Seeing the initiatives to transfer textbooks to digital media, I realized there was more to be done than a book you basically clicked on to flip pages.

During my time at LDT I focused on learning games. I applied different learning theories and user-centered design in the development of a couple of prototypes for math learning games.

I think games' ability to exercise concepts across different contexts facilitates learning and unbinds knowledge from contextual restraints, facilitating future learning while having fun.
