| Case Study: Child Development Evaluation at Preschool |
| This case explores the current methods used in assessing child development in an ASI early children development center. From the case of my subject, a three-year bilingual girl in her second year in the preschool, I try to understand how the assessment is implemented in a national model preschool, how its experience can be scale up to the universal preschool if possible for an accountable system in the future. TeachSpace is designed to have three components: a convenient search function to quickly locate lesson plans, curriculum, activities and other online resources that could be integrated into teaching and learning; a user evaluation system that allows users to evaluate these resources, or to review evaluations and comments from other users or experts; finally a customized interface to keep track of the latest development on technologies, regulations or other K12 related issues.
